Based in Zurich, Switzerland, Rahel Hedwig holds a BA in Fine Arts and is currently studying Photography at MAZ – the Institute for Journalism and Communication.
Her work explores the broad theme of identity from multiple perspectives. Examining how others perceive and define it, while simultaneously tracing her own understanding of its meaning and weight.

Working with both analog and digital cameras, Rahel captures fleeting, unguarded moments as well as those carefully shaped in collaboration with others.

With a particular passion for street photography, portraiture, and event documentation, she brings curiosity and openness to every project, always eager to explore new ideas and collaborations.
